Dental diagnostics & X-ray
In our practice, we place a great emphasis on comprehensive diagnostics. Each treatment is always carried out based on appropriate diagnostics.
The dental diagnostics performed by us using modern equipment allow for precise determination of the oral health of our patients and early detection of any abnormalities. The most commonly used diagnostic methods in dentistry include:
Vatech X-ray (radiography) – provides imaging that allows for obtaining images of tooth structures, roots, and jaw bones. It is one of the most important diagnostic methods in dentistry, which enables the detection of tooth decay, inflammatory tissue conditions, cavities, and infections.
Vatech intraoral camera – a special camera that allows for a very accurate image of the inside of the patient’s oral cavity. With the intraoral camera, we diagnose gum inflammation, cavities, filling damage, and obtain images of prosthetic components.
CBCT (cone-beam computed tomography) – a modern imaging test that allows for obtaining very accurate images of the structures of the oral cavity, including bones, soft tissues, and temporomandibular joints. CBCT is particularly useful in implantological diagnostics and in cases requiring detailed anatomical assessment (requires referral to a radiological center).
Vatech radiography (RVG) – a modern solution that allows for obtaining digital images of teeth and jaw bones. Radiography is very useful in the diagnosis of dental and oral cavity bone diseases, including orthodontics or dental surgery.
We also use intraoral cameras and radiography as part of screening examinations so that the patient can see their teeth up close and for more precise diagnosis of dental problems than with a clinical examination alone. CBCT is mainly used in cases where conventional imaging tests are not sufficient for accurate diagnosis.
